Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space tech
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities and societal needs
- Lead stakeholder workshops with C-suite executives and industry thought leaders to validate future scenarios
- Author white papers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies and their business implications
- Manage a $3M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments and pivots
- Mentor junior strategists and build a futurist research network with global academic institutions
- Present findings at TED-style conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology evolution or disruptive innovation
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience with AI/ML systems for predictive modeling of technological adoption curves
- Portfolio of successful technology commercialization or moonshot project delivery
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
- Public speaking experience at minimum 3 major industry conferences
