Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-7 year adoption horizons
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Future Institute on predictive trend analysis
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototype development
- Author annual 'State of 2026 Technology' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy at Fortune 100 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Speaking record at Davos or similar future-focused forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 technology predictions with >80% accuracy
