Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive innovations with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech
- Champion emerging technology adoption through C-level presentations and stakeholder workshops
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization and risk mitigation
- Build and lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-gen technologies including AI governance and biotech ethics
- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers, patents, and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Expertise in emerging technologies: Generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies with measurable market impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions
- Portfolio of implemented strategic initiatives resulting in $10M+ revenue impact
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology management preferred
