Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate-tech innovation
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging biotechnology, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in post-quantum security and AGI alignment
- Present strategic briefings to investors, policymakers, and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets and coordinate with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and EU Horizon Europe
- Champion ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neurotech adoption
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our 2026 Leadership Incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Computational Science with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ exits or patents)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and systemic risk assessment
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature Futures, Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFS) or Technology Management (CTM)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
