Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable technologies
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with commercial potential by 2026
- Manage a $5M innovation budget and oversee vendor/partnerships
- Present strategic roadmaps to the board and executive stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 8-12 innovation specialists and researchers
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or strategic planning
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, or biotech applications
- Experience with scenario planning and future forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and ROI analysis
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology or business journals
