- Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) for strategic integration
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and secure executive buy-in
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and resource allocation for experimental projects
- Mentor junior talent and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
- Deliver quarterly progress reports to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in innovation or R&D management
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech trends and future-gazing methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex budgets
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and change management (e.g., Prosci)
