- Identify and secure partnerships with emerging tech startups and academic research institutions
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development plans
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, foresight workshops, and trend forecasting
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year lifecycle planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
