Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable impact metrics
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, decentralized networks)
- Present innovation strategy to C-suite and board members securing $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Mentor talent pipeline through internal innovation labs and university partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with proven track record of shipping futuristic solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic systems)
- Experience securing $3M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership on technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies deployed at scale
