Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum applications, bio-AI hybrids, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Manage innovation budget allocation and ROI analysis for experimental projects
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board members for funding approval
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Innovation, Strategic Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in corporate innovation or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 tech companies
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-AI
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/SHRM) or equivalent methodology training
- Experience securing government innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA) or venture capital
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends in peer-reviewed journals
