Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver breakthrough prototypes
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Develop and manage a $5M innovation budget with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members, securing buy-in and resources
- Monitor global tech trends through proprietary research and competitive intelligence systems
- Drive commercialization of pilot technologies through agile development cycles and market validation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation, with 5+ years in leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two commercially successful products using emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, nanotechnology, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience developing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Certified in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) or relevant technical certifications
- Fluency in English with additional language proficiency highly desirable
