Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and validating 2026-era technologies
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across enterprise sectors
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budgets through data-driven ROI projections
- Forge partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and EU Horizon 2020 initiatives
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior researchers in patent development and commercialization
- Monitor global tech policy shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Biotechnology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years leading R&D initiatives in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published 5+ peer-reviewed papers on future-tech implications
- Track record of commercializing 3+ patented innovations
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act, and similar regulations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS/CSF)
