Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators focused on 2026 capabilities
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board, securing $10M+ annual R&D allocation
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technologies with 2026 market viability
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation architects
- Author quarterly '2026 Horizon Reports' for industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching products with 3-5 year market disruption cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech integration
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, MIT Tech Review, or similar tier-1 publications
- Experience securing >$5M in R&D funding for speculative technology initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
