Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen AI ethics frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships with DARPA and NSF
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor a 15-person innovation team through agile development cycles
- Publish 2+ whitepapers annually on future-tech disruption trends
- Oversee integration of emerging technologies into commercial products
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in innovation leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record scaling R&D initiatives to $10M+ budgets
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or top-tier tech conferences
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Strong network with academic institutions and government agencies
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and innovation management platforms
