Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities in emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Present compelling future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Oversee the creation of innovation roadmaps with clear milestones and resource allocation
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Technology/Engineering preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation projects with 2026+ relevance
