Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption (quantum computing, neurotech, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic business models
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory shifts to inform product development priorities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with organizational vision
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conference presentations
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product innovation, or emerging technology leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing applications, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (patents, journals, or major publications)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Strong proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
