Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Identify and prioritize market opportunities in sustainable tech ecosystems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build and manage a portfolio of 2026-viable prototype projects
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting innovation
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong background in sustainable technology frameworks
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in strategy development
- Certification in Futures Thinking (preferred)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ strategic foresight projects
