Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Design scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation governance
- Partner with C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with market disruption forecasts
- Present visionary blueprints to investors, regulators, and industry consortiums
- Drive incubation of prototype solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation maturity and market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in tech ethics or future studies (e.g., Nature Futures, IEEE Spectrum)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or equivalent field
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable innovation frameworks or disruption modeling
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., SFU, WFS)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for speculative technologies
