Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and engineers
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on implementation roadmaps
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and practical applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction algorithms
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems to 100+ qubits
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
