Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum system development
- Drive breakthrough research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D grants from federal and private entities
- Pioneer novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Represent Nexus Quantum Labs at global technology summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction protocols
- Proven track record of securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong understanding of quantum hardware limitations and scaling challenges
