Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients focusing on 2026 adoption curves
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-encrypted communication systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Author white papers on AI ethics and autonomous system governance frameworks
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation projects
- Mentor PhD fellows in our Future Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Deep expertise in neural networks, blockchain consensus algorithms, and distributed systems
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government collaborative projects
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patents in emerging tech domains
