Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify 2026-relevant technological, economic, and social disruptions
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps and market positioning
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for 2026 market transitions
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging paradigms affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions targeting 2026 adoption curves
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate foresight insights into corporate strategy, innovation pipeline, and investment decisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, energy)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level influence capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future-focused topics (Harvard Business Review/MIT Review preferred)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) or equivalent practical experience
