What You'll Achieve: Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year innovation roadmaps, establish proprietary trend-prediction frameworks, and directly influence product development cycles that will define the next decade. You'll operate at the intersection of quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning methodologies for technological, economic, and social trends through 2026
- Produce quarterly strategic foresight reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Design scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions aligned with long-term market projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for trend intelligence
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external investors
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced predictive analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or future-of-industry topics
