Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks quantifying technological, environmental, and socio-economic variables
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging paradigms (AI ethics, quantum adoption, climate tech)
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into MVP development roadmaps
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and academic symposia
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing industry thought leadership through published research
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, backcasting)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance)
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Polymath)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Certified Futurist (CF) credential preferred
