Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and geopolitical shifts to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing adoption and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, biotech convergence)
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and scenario planning frameworks
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-relevant solutions
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting long-term tech adoption
- Mentor junior futurists on strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Proven track record of publishing future-oriented research
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
