Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for strategic decision-making and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic initiatives
- Present future-focused insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author quarterly trend briefs and annual strategic foresight reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or AC/SF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-focused strategic initiatives
