Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future ecosystems
- Manage innovation sprints with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, designers, data scientists)
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, patents, and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Global mindset with experience navigating complex geopolitical and ethical landscapes
