Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, backcasting, and technology roadmaps
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with academic institutions, innovation labs, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and present strategic foresight findings to global stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological indicators to refine predictive models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario-planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing and implementing technology roadmaps for 5-10 year horizons
- Strong presentation skills with history of delivering insights to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business impact
