Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with quarterly strategic pivots
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for cutting-edge R&D
- Author the annual 'State of 2026' forecast influencing $500M+ investment decisions
- Champion ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (AGI governance, neurotech ethics)
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab of PhD researchers and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation with 3+ years in future-tech planning (quantum/AI/climate)
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to $100M+ commercial impact
- Advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (biotech convergence, quantum supremacy)
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFMP from APF)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ technologies deployed at scale post-2020
