Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, social, and economic megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging markets including quantum internet, bio-integrated systems, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Establish early-warning systems for paradigm shifts in climate tech, neurotechnology, and spatial computing
- Author forward-looking white papers that position Horizon Dynamics as thought leadership
- Partner with venture teams to scout and evaluate next-generation startups
- Build predictive models for adoption curves of exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategy in tech or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including horizon scanning, Delphi techniques, and backcasting
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
