Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, policy shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for future uncertainties
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and innovation labs
- Produce forward-looking reports and thought leadership content for industry stakeholders
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing solutions and ethical frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and establish internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented tech leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate solutions)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Portfolio of published future-oriented research or thought leadership
