Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks to guide product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and internal strategy documents
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or consulting with proven future-vision implementation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Outstanding communication skills for translating technical concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures/innnovation spaces (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic roadmapping methodologies
