Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovations in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Produce strategic white papers and thought leadership content on emerging tech paradigms
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into current development pipelines
- Establish early-warning systems for potential market shifts and competitive threats
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (provide portfolio of past forecasts)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals or conferences
- Experience building and managing global trend intelligence networks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
