Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scan, identifying breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into innovation priorities and R&D roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and policy think tanks shaping 2026's digital economy
- Author quarterly 'Future Briefs' for executive leadership, quantifying market impacts and disruption risks
- Design and deploy corporate foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry councils focused on 2026 technology governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused technology leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate-tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (white papers, patents, or industry keynotes)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term digital transformation strategies
