Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and social disruptions
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech pioneers
- Present foresight frameworks to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI impact assessments
- Mentor a team of futurists and research scientists
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry reports and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains: quantum AI, neurotech, climate resilience, or space commerce
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFCS) or equivalent applied experience
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or human-machine evolution
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and disruptive innovation models
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling strategic narratives
