In this high-impact position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to identify emerging paradigms in AI ethics, climate tech, and neurointerfaces. Your strategic insights will directly influence our $500M R&D portfolio and shape the future of human-machine symbiosis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision framework, aligning with global sustainability and technological disruption trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Manage a team of 12 futurists and innovation specialists across 3 global offices
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA JPL
- Author quarterly 'Future State' briefs for Fortune 500 clients and industry thought leaders
- Drive organizational adoption of agile futurism methodologies across 50+ product teams
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting products/services post-2020
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with demonstrated success at Davos-scale forums
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leader in Harvard Business Review or MIT Technology Review (2019-2023)
