Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging scientific trends and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists in rapid prototyping cycles
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact and market readiness
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development for future-facing solutions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with proven experience in future-scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of 3+ successful long-term technology commercialization projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum systems, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Strong background in systems thinking and complex adaptive modeling
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive presence
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFT from Association of Professional Futurists)
