Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Conduct scenario planning workshops to prepare for multiple future possibilities and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate future insights into development pipelines
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future concepts into executable business strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
