Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and Web3 ecosystems
- Lead research on emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) and their commercial applications
- Architect scalable infrastructure supporting 10B+ IoT device ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to create patent-protected solutions for 2026 market needs
- Present strategic technology briefings to investors and board members
- Mentor engineers in future-proof development methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on innovation strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI/ML, distributed systems, and quantum computing principles
- Successful track record launching enterprise-scale future-tech products
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
