Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Technology Roadmap integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams developing prototype systems for autonomous urban ecosystems
- Conduct foresight analysis on emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology convergence)
- Establish ethical frameworks for human augmentation and digital consciousness research
- Secure $10M+ R&D funding through strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and EU Horizon
- Present technological blueprints to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor PhD candidates in future studies through our Stanford affiliation program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum machine learning or neurotech
- Proven track record scaling tech teams from 5 to 50+ engineers
- Expertise in ISO 26000 ESG frameworks for emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms and post-quantum cryptography
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR/STTR) for cutting-edge projects
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercialized futuristic technologies
- Certification in Future Foresight Methodology (FFM) from World Future Society
