- Partner with C-suite to align technological investments with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives, analyzing geopolitical and socioeconomic factors shaping tech adoption
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Mentor a specialized team of futurists and technology architects
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to stakeholders and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, with 5+ years in futurism or advanced R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and market impact assessment
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products/services
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal implications
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
