Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 3-7 year commercialization windows
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration and ethical AI frameworks
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budgets
- Secure partnerships with top-tier research labs (MIT, CERN, etc.)
- Present future tech forecasts to Fortune 100 executive boards
- Drive patent development for proprietary emerging technologies
- Mentor next-gen innovators through our FutureTech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Experience securing $20M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (NIST, IEEE)
- Portfolio of launched products with >$100M market impact
