Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026-focused technology roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) for strategic integration
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints delivering prototype concepts within 6-month cycles
- Present technology forecasts and innovation proposals to C-suite and board members
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop IP protection strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior innovators in future-focused design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology R&D with proven track record in emerging tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, AI ethics, biotechnology convergence
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology implications
- Strong stakeholder management experience with Fortune 500 partners
- Proficiency in horizon scanning and scenario planning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating delivered innovation projects with measurable impact
