Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 tech strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable energy solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech into product roadmaps
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present strategy to investors and board members quarterly
- Build and mentor a team of 8-12 future-tech specialists
- Monitor global tech policy shifts affecting 2026 implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record leading R&D initiatives reaching commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in technology/innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Fluency in tech policy landscape across 3+ countries
- PMP or similar strategic certification preferred
