Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces) to create 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation systems
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with academic institutions on joint research initiatives
- Curate and maintain the company's '2026 Technology Horizon' database
- Mentor junior researchers in futurism methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI safety, biocomputing
- Proven track record of converting foresight into commercial products
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
