Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 market dominance
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with real-world implementation potential
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation cycles
- Present future technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with actionable insights
- Develop intellectual property portfolios including patents and whitepapers on frontier technologies
- Mentor junior futurists while fostering a culture of experimental learning and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 90%+ accuracy rate
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published author or thought leader in technology foresight publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience securing R&D budgets exceeding $5M for experimental initiatives
