Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market challenges
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks for next-generation technologies
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and lead a global network of futurists and technology scouts
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting technological adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Global perspective with international business experience
