Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a 5-year technology vision aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum-AI hybrids, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical tech deployment and digital sovereignty
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor innovation specialists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies in Fortune 500 ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI governance
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., APF) or Technology Assessment
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
