Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to create strategic foresight reports for 2026+ horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype next-gen solutions using AR/VR, IoT, and quantum computing
- Develop patentable innovation frameworks that position the company as a thought leader in future tech
- Build strategic partnerships with research labs, universities, and startups focused on 2030 technology roadmaps
- Present technology scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Oversee the implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies in production environments
- Author thought leadership content and speak at global tech conferences about future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
