Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating quantum computing, AR/VR, and neuromorphic systems
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and industry consortiums
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous system governance
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototype development and pilot programs
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future tech implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends: generative AI, quantum algorithms, or neurotech
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-suite and board-level communications
