Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, advanced AI) and their market implications for 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps with 3-5 year vision alignment
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications and conferences
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive technology landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven expertise in forecasting technology trends (minimum 5 years)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (blockchain, AI, biotech)
- Experience developing strategic frameworks for long-term planning
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Certification in futures studies or technology foresight preferred
